Fixed fuel tanks

In theory, refuelling a standard gas cylinder should take no more than a few minutes. In reality, it can take much longer. Especially if your bulk tank isn't as close as you'd like it to be. Now Calor have a solution. Fitted to the back of the forklift truck, our new Fixed Fuel Tank can hold up to 70 litres of fuel. With fewer refuelling stops there's less opportunity for unscheduled or early driver breaks. So we're helping you reduce downtime and labour costs whilst increasing productivity.

Available in 55 litre as well as 70 litre capacities, a Calor LPG Fixed Fuel Tank is designed and constructed in accordance with PED regulations, and issued with a test certificate. It features directly mounted fittings such as a service valve, relief valve and dust cap, contents gauge and "autostop" filler valve with dust cap.

In line with Calor's 70 years of experience, expertise and reliability - and in accordance with Codes of Practice 30 - we will carry out a rigorous examination of the Fixed Fuel Tank and its fittings every five years. What's more, every 15 years it will be refurbished and hydraulically tested, and marked with the date and testing authority symbol.
