Does cold weather affect forklift truck gas?
There is no problem with starting forklift trucks in cold weather. An LPG truck can operate effectively in cold temperatures as low as -20oC.
How long does an 18kg cylinder last?
An 18kg cylinder would typically last for an 8-hour shift.
I have just changed the cylinder on my forklift truck and now it won't start. What might be the problem?
Check that the cylinder hose connection is tightened correctly onto the cylinder and turn the cylinder service valve on slowly to allow the gas to pass through. If the truck still won't start, call your Service Engineer.
I have just changed the cylinder on my forklift truck. It starts easily but will not continue running. What might be the problem?
Check that the cylinder is fitted correctly - the arrow on the bottom of the cylinder must point down. Alter if required. If the truck still won't run correctly, call your Service Engineer.
My forklift truck is difficult to start in cold weather. What might be the problem?
There could be a problem with the water level in the radiator, or there may not be sufficient antifreeze present. Check these fluid levels and if the problem continues, call your Service Engineer.
We have just doubled the number of our LPG forklift trucks and will need more storage space for cylinders. Is there any other method of refueling?
